Washington Music Nightlife Association
I’ve been supporting the Washington Nightlife and Music Association since COVID and recently helped them build a custom section of their website for the Washington State Music Census—the first comprehensive study of the state’s music ecosystem.
Developed with funding from the Washington Department of Commerce, the City of Seattle Office of Economic Development, and King County Creative, the Census highlights music as both a major economic driver and a defining part of community life across Washington.
I contributed photography for the site and hand-coded interactive charts and graphs using Chart.js, integrating them directly into their WordPress platform. It was an incredible project to be part of! You can view the website at wanma.info/data
Matt McDonald is truly wonderful to work with. He listens closely, brings great ideas, and has been a huge supporter of the Washington Nightlife and Music Association from the very beginning—literally helping us build our website.
